Filip de Somer PhD ECCP
Filip De Somer PhD ECCP serves as chief perfusionist at the Ghent University Hospital in Ghent, Belgium. He is a member of the Institute of Biomedical Technology of Ghent University and has authored / co-authored numerous publications. He is involved in ongoing research in perfusion, tissue engineering, blood management, and blood coagulation. Dr. de Somer serves on the editorial board of several journals (JECT, Perfusion, ASAIO) and is section editor for IJAO.
