Among 2017 perfusion meetings, the Cardiothoracic Surgery Symposium (CREF 2017) is the oldest and most well-established event west of the Rockies. It focuses on the science and techniques of cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal perfusion, and cardiac surgery. It features cutting-edge presentations from renowned international faculty, lively case discussions, hands-on educational workshops, informative exhibit displays, and extracurricular education on topics relevant to your practice. It’s also a whole lot of fun.
An international meeting, CREF enjoys an excellent reputation at home and abroad, attracting attendees from across the globe. In fact, at our 2016 meeting, more than 25% of our audience traveled from outside the U.S. to attend. From Kyrgyzstan to China, Switzerland to New Zealand, Italy to Iraq, Mexico to Mongolia, all are welcome.
And when this eclectic mix of participants gathers in the same space, we’ve discovered that extraordinary things happen. People forget about their differences. They open up, share their experiences, feel inspired, engage in intense debate, laugh, offer advice, and form lasting friendships. They leave with new ideas, practical tips, and real changes they can apply Monday morning to improve their practice and help patients live longer, better lives.
Isn’t that what attending a face-to-face meeting is all about?
Unlike most 2017 perfusion meetings, CREF is an interdisciplinary meeting, addressing the educational needs of the entire cardiac OR team. It offers ample CME and CEU credits for perfusionists, physician assistants, nurses, cardiac surgeons, and cardiovascular anesthesiologists. Our 2016 attendees earned 41.7 Category 1 CEUs and 19.75 Category 1 CME credits.
Go ahead and have a look around. We’re pretty sure that you’ll like what you see because all year long, we work hard to create a quality educational experience for you and your cardiac-surgery colleagues. It’s all we do.
